QUESTIONS

Hi Michelle, Can I recommend Efamol EPO to a patient that has just had a mastectomy? Thanks.

ANSWER

Good day, Angelique

Thank you for your question. Evening primrose oil (EPO) has multiple benefits and I would definitely recommend it to a patient that had a mastectomy. Yes, EPO does help to reduce breast pain and reduces the inflammation in our body, but it also includes the following benefits: Eases rheumatoid arthritis pain; minimizes symptoms of diabetic nerve damage; relieves eczema; may improve symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome and multiple sclerosis. It has also shown to reduce the hot flushes and hormonal imbalances during menopause; and reduce the pain and mood swings during premenstrual syndrome (PMS). With all these great advantages of using EPO; I would definitely recommend every women, young and old, to use EPO every day. Kind regards, Michelle Jooste
